 Why some people appear to get through ten different mobile numbers in a year gives rise to a lot of questions.  To us, ‘appear’ is the first question.

Whilst having a handset to examine helps, often the call detail records (from the mobile networks) can help paint a clearer picture of user movements and interactions with others.

When looking at drugs line activity, the records can help establish which individuals were likely controlling the line, based on their personal numbers being used in the same place(s). ‘Bed and breakfast’ looks at where such numbers are last used / first used over a period.
